The challenge
The Build2gether Inclusive Innovation Challenge is an engineering contest that aims to create assistive technologies for individuals with disabilities. The challenge is offering more than 50 rewards, including an Inclusive Innovation Challenge Ultimate Award of $10,000. The contest is global, with judges and contest masters from the US, Europe, and Asia.
Objective: To identify gaps in current assistive technologies and design innovative engineering solutions that cater to the unique needs of individuals with disabilities.
Themes: The contest focuses on three main themes:
- Gaming for people with mobility impairments
- Traveling for people with mobility impairments
- Swimming for people with visual impairments
Submission: Participants can submit up to three different solutions, one for each theme. Each submission will be evaluated on a 100-point scale.

Prizes
A total of more than 50 rewards, including the Inclusive Innovation Challenge Ultimate Award of $10,000, will be awarded to innovative projects.
The Inclusive Innovation Challenge Ultimate Award carries a cash prize of $10,000. and is determined by the total number of points accumulated from all submissions. Accumulate as many points as you can by submitting up to three solutions, one for each theme.

Judging and community feedback
The Contest Masters, who are individuals with disabilities passionate about assistive technologies, will judge the solutions. Participants can interact with them via Discord channels to better understand the needs and problems faced by the disability community.
The contest emphasizes the importance of collaboration with the disability community and aims to involve them in every stage of product design and prototyping. It seeks to build a more inclusive and equitable future for all by connecting engineers working on assistive technologies with the communities who will use their products.
