Studying at Duke University, Eric earned undergraduate and master's degrees in electrical engineering fostering a passion for education and entrepreneurship.  He co-founded a Wi-Fi security start-up to help secure wireless connectivity. Eric continued his career at Hatteras Network as a QA and Sales Engineer gaining Carrier networking deployment experience.

The service provider knowledge led to an opportunity with a dark fiber service provider to design, deploy and manage networks for School districts. Eric then joined LVL7 Systems as a Field Applications Engineer helping to market Switching and Wireless software solutions for embedded networking products. When Broadcom acquired LVL7, Eric stepped into a Product Line Management role assisting with the formation and rapid growth of Broadcom’s Enterprise Wi-Fi group.

For over a decade, Eric has worked as part of embedUR’s uniquely experienced team riding the latest technology waves from Wi-Fi to Cloud to IoT and now to Edge AI, helping our customers utilize advanced innovations in their new solutions.

John Marconi, VP of Technology at embedUR.

John is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience in designing, developing, and launching innovative products. He has played a pivotal role in creating award-winning software solutions, bridging low-level device drivers, embedded systems, and scalable cloud architectures with big-data and edge AI innovations.
