The Synaptics SL1680 Embedded IoT Processor is an AI-native system-on-chip designed for Android™ and Linux® edge computing applications. It integrates a quad-core 64-bit Arm® Cortex®-A73 CPU subsystem with an NPU delivering up to 7.9+ TOPS for local machine-learning inference. An integrated GPU supports 2D and 3D graphics, concurrent execution, and general-purpose compute workloads. Multimedia resources include a secure image signal processor, 4K video decoding and encoding, display processing, and audio acceleration for far-field voice and keyword detection.The processor supports LPDDR4 and LPDDR4x memory, eMMC 5.1 storage, Gigabit networking, PCIe, USB, UART, SPI, SDIO, GPIO, and ADC interfaces. Video and audio connectivity includes MIPI CSI-2®, MIPI DSI®, HDMI®, and I2S/TDM.
